In 2001, SCT and CCT have ,jointly with leading barge operators, launched the South China Shuttle service between Western Shenzhen Port and main river ports alongside the Pearl River, aim at providing the local users and liner companies a more convenient and cost-effective transportation alternative.

Up to 2004, The South China Shuttle Service has covered most of the South China ports including Fangcheng, Beihai, Foshan, Huangpu, Jiangmen, Maoming, Nanhai, Panyu, Shunde, Zhuhai, Zhangjiang, Zhongshan, Zhaoqing and will soon extend to more other cities like Haikou and Macau etc. Bearing the multi-win philosophy in mind, SCT and CCT are dedicated in ensuring every shuttle service user enjoying more-than-value-for money services through continuous software and hardware enhancement and other associated improvement.
